How the Program Works
We break down investment analysis into three practical phases. Each one builds on what you learned before, so you're working with increasingly complex financial scenarios as your skills develop.
Foundation Period
First eight weeks focus on reading financial statements and understanding market indicators. You'll work through real company data from Philippine markets and learn to spot red flags in quarterly reports.
Analysis Methods
Weeks nine through sixteen cover valuation techniques and risk assessment frameworks. We use case studies from actual investment decisions—both successful ones and those that didn't pan out as expected.
Portfolio Projects
Final eight weeks are your capstone work. You'll research a sector, analyze multiple companies, and present an investment thesis with supporting data. Past participants have covered everything from REITs to tech startups.
Your Learning Journey Through Six Months
This isn't a crash course. We're spacing content across half a year because building genuine analytical skills takes time—and honestly, you need breaks between dense financial concepts to let things sink in properly.
Months 1-2: Financial Statement Deep Dive
You'll spend these weeks getting comfortable with balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. We work with anonymized data from real companies so you can see patterns in how businesses actually report their numbers.
Months 3-4: Valuation and Risk Models
Here's where we get into DCF models, comparable company analysis, and understanding what different valuation multiples actually mean. You'll also learn scenario analysis—what happens if growth slows down or interest rates shift?
Months 5-6: Independent Research Phase
Your capstone project runs through these final weeks. Pick a sector that interests you, analyze the competitive landscape, and build an investment recommendation with all the supporting analysis. Previous cohorts have produced some genuinely insightful work during this phase.
